COINS, Consultoria e Investigação em Saúde, Lda, is a company founded in 2025 by João Parracho da Costa and Luís Silva Miguel, both with 25 years of experience on conducting studies to support market access and health policies.

Our mission is to generate high-quality scientific evidence to support health technology assessment, market access, and health policy programmes, particularly for medicines and medical devices.

Guided by technical and scientific rigor and by a commitment to independence, COINS positions itself as a reference partner for various stakeholders, contributing to informed decision-making in health.

COINS Quality Policy

  • COINS is governed by the following principles: 

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting the requirements of the services provided, as well as applicable standards and legal requirements; 

    • Conduct relationships with its suppliers based on a partnership approach, considering them an integral part of the Quality System, and maintaining an evaluation of the services provided through the analysis of Non-Conformities and Complaints for which they are responsible; 

    • Involve all employees in the Quality System, paying close attention to their needs; 

    • Ensure information security and the protection of personal data, safeguarding the rights and duties defined by the legislation in force; 

    • Ensure the maintenance of the resources necessary for the effectiveness of the Quality System; 

    • Ensure continuous compliance with applicable legal, regulatory and normative requirements, promoting a relationship of trust, transparency and cooperation with regulatory bodies; 

    • Systematically evaluate the results of the implementation of its Quality System, ensuring that all activities operate in accordance with established procedures and continuously improving the effectiveness of the System.
